About Us

We were founded in 1998 to promote, educate, and support breastfeeding.  Members consist of Certified Lactation Counselors and other health professionals, including nurses, dietitians, and nutritionists.  Community organizations represented include local clinics and hospitals, local and state health departments, WIC, and educational institutions.
